Monika Leukert is an animal nutritionist and scientific storyteller with a strong focus on animal health, antioxidants, selenium and natural feed additives. She studied Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bonn, where her research addressed trace mineral supply in dairy cows under heat stress and the effects of phytogenic feed supplements in poultry.
Since 2016, Monika has been working at Lallemand Animal Nutrition as Global Product Manager for antioxidant solutions and yeast postbiotics, gaining international experience in product management and positioning of functional feed ingredients. She also leads workshops within Lallemand’s Yeast Academy, sharing insights into the fascinating world of yeasts and their applications in animal nutrition.
